1996
- Founded in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada by a team of seasoned snubbing industry veterans, Snubco began providing snubbing services to the Canadian oil and gas industry in 1996
2000
- Expanded into manufacturing with the opening of our fabrication and maintenance facility in Nisku, Alberta
- Began rolling out to international markets, providing snubbing equipment and services to customers in China and Australia
2005
- Expanded service line to include coil tubing and nitrogen services. This division was later sold in 2013
2006- 2017
- Continued to expand globally into Malaysia, Europe, Latin America, and the United States
- Established industry leadership with the introduction of Slipsmart and Snubsmart
- Achieved another industry first with development of a physics-based virtual snubbing training simulator (in partnership with Edmonton’s Serious Labs)
2018
- Opened office in Warsaw, Poland
- Initiated joint venture partnership in China
- Launched our innovative thermal unit prototype (T.H.O.R.) following eight years of R&D investment
- Undertook successful projects in Africa, another milestone event for Snubco. We have now performed work on every continent except Antarctica
2019
- Opened branch office in Bogota, Colombia
- Continued innovation with introduction of 10k hot tap system for well intervention
