Snubco Pressure Control International and UMW Petrodril (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd are pleased to announce the commencement of our joint venture company UMW  Pressure Control Sdn. Bhd. The company was formed initially to provide hot tapping services to offshore platforms.UMW Pressure Control Sdn. Bhd,backed by Snubco Pressure Control International’s pressure control personnel and UMW Petrodril (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd offshore hydraulic workover experience will provide all matter of pressure control services to the South East Asia area. 

Currently, Exxon contracts UMW Pressure Control Sdn. Bhd as it’s exclusive hot tap provider and we are in the final stages of start up for Brunei Shell for valve hot tapping.

Update:

UMW Pressure Control Sdn. Bhd is pleased to announce that the testing in Brunei Shell was a complete success and the drill is currently on route to the offshore platform. Be sure to check back for updated photos and a complete case history of the completed milling operation.

The JV comapny formed by Snubco and UMW has successfully completed their first offshore valve drilling operation in the Brunei hot tapping project. Snubco would like to thank the combined UMW and Snubco crew on a job well done.
