RASU #2 Arrives in Australia

Snubco Pressure Control International along with Easternwell Group joined in 2003 to form Eastern Pressure Control.

Eastern Pressure Control introduced the first Rig Assist Snubbing Unit (RASU) to the Australian market.  Easternwell Pressure Control operates the RASU, which allows oil, and gas wells to be efficiently serviced while they are under pressure therefore maintaining flow and production.

2008 saw the introduction of the RASU 2. This totally self contained unit had the added benefit of a rotary combined with a torque tube system that allows the unit to achieve its maximum torque without damages caused by any retroactive torque (a first of its kind in the industry).

Eastern Pressure Control also offers complete pressure control packages providing clients with leading edge, cost effective solutions.
The provisions of these services compliment the division’s core business of snubbing.  They include rig assist snubbing, self contained snubbing, self contained hydraulic workover, freeze services, hot tap services and computerized torque turn services for running premium tubulars.
