  • Tailgate Safety Meetings in the field and shop on a daily basis
  • Formal weekly Safety Meetings, and Job Site Inspections are conducted and documented by Supervisor level employees
  • Safety Pays Program that rewards employees and management for consistent “on the job” and “in shop” safety practices and procedures
  • Annual Safety Audits using the Enform Basic Safety Programs audit protocol
  • Annual review of the Safety Program to respond to changes in technology, government legislation and hazards identified by staff or in the industry
  • Hazard Identification Reporting System – a way for employees to give feedback on equipment safety for design modifications

In addition, SNUBCO maintains a comprehensive Policy and Procedures Manual – an active document that outlines all formal safety policies and job specific procedures. As snubbing technology expands, the need for additions to the manual is constant. Every employee contributes, so that future employees can benefit from past experience. Anyone within SNUBCO can contribute to improving or upgrading the policies and procedures manual; it is re-evaluated every year.

Snubco considers Safety training a “life-long learning” process and continually develops specialized workshops to keep up to date on safety topics related to our industry.
